UPDATE!
Now, I'm continuing my journey as a 5th-grade teacher at Bowdon Elementary School. Guiding young minds and fostering a love for learning has been incredibly rewarding. However, I'm gearing up for a new adventure as I plan to make the move to Gainesville City Schools for the next school year. I'm eager to bring my passion for education and community engagement to a new setting.

In his own words:
Hey there! I'm Alan Remes, and I proudly graduated from the University of West Georgia in the Spring of 2023. My University journey was a vibrant tapestry of experiences, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about it with you.
During my time on the UWG campus, I found my rhythm as part of the Marching Band. It wasn't just about the music; it was about the camaraderie, the discipline, and the thrill of contributing to the lively atmosphere of our university's events. The band became my second family, and the lessons in teamwork and dedication continue to resonate with me.
One of my most cherished experiences was being a part of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. The fraternity provided me with a strong sense of brotherhood, leadership opportunities, and a platform to make a positive impact. Together, we embraced values of unity, service, and cultural awareness.
Taking on the role of an Orientation Leader was another highlight of my university journey. Guiding new students, helping them navigate campus life, and being a friendly face during their early days was incredibly rewarding. It was my way of giving back to the community that had given me so much.
As a Social Media Ambassador, I delved into the digital realm, connecting with fellow students and showcasing the diverse talents and activities on campus. Being a voice on social media allowed me to contribute to the vibrant online presence of our university community.
