2021 Scholarship Recipient: Imelda Razo

I graduated this past May with my Bachelor's! Some highlights of my college career are being able to present at conferences, both regionally and nationally. I presented at the NSTA Conference in Philadelphia in March. All expenses paid for by UNG.! The presentation focused on Supporting the Teaching of Science & Engineering in Middle Grades for Multilingual Learners. This was such a great experience, I'm hoping I can continue doing presentations like these.
I've signed my contract to continue working at Gainesville Middle School West as a 6th grade teacher. I am so excited to take on a new school year!.
While interning at the Gainesville Middle School West I also ran into Alan in April. Alan was visiting the school with his students who will be entering the middle school in the fall. See photo below.
